Sonali Gupta is a clinical psychologist at Open Briefing. Over her 20-year career, Sonali’s clinical work has focused on survivors of interpersonal trauma and human rights violations, including survivors of human trafficking, state-sanctioned torture, and gender-based violence as well as refugees and asylum seekers. Since 2006, she has also been a mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) consultant to international NGOs and UN agencies working in (post) conflict and (post) disaster contexts in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. Sonali holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and a bachelors degree in neuroscience, and completed her post-doctoral clinical fellowship at Cambridge Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She speaks English and French.
