Susana Sanz

Susana Sanz is a digital security consultant at Open Briefing. Susana has an established record in digital security consultancy and training with grassroots movements, journalists, and NGOs. She has previously worked as the information security coordinator for the Centro de Autonomía Digital and a digital security trainer for Totem, a joint project by Green Host and Free Press Unlimited. She is the co-founder of Filtrala, a Spanish whistleblower platform that is a collaboration between hactivists and investigative journalists. She is also a founding member of the women’s rights solidarity group Las Brujas, which raises awareness of femicide in Guatemala, and the Stop Impunity in Rwanda platform, for which she was the advocacy coordinator and spokesperson. Susana holds a master’s degree in participation and community development and a degree in business and economic science.
