Monitoring and response

Open Briefing partners with SI Risk to provide a 24-hour global security operations centre for those NGOs without the in-house capacity to monitor and respond to GPS personal trackers.

Open Briefing and SI Risk will work with you to develop the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that our expert security team monitoring your trackers will follow. The team will then escalate any panic alerts, broken geofences or missed check-ins to your crisis management team, insurance provider or the search and rescue authorities as appropriate. There is a very reasonable per user, per annum fee for this service.

Our security experts can also provide incident response until your crisis management team is ready to take over. There is an additional hourly charge for this service.

The 24-hour global security operations centre features include:

  • UK based
  • Essential IT equipment linked to Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
  • Multiple communications channels
  • Building access controls, security and CCTV
  • A highly-trained team
  • Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 9001 (2015) accredited

Open Briefing can also arrange high-risk medical and crisis response travel insurance to enhance your ability to respond in an emergency. In addition, our consultants can work with you to create a robust crisis management plan and train your in-house crisis management team, including putting them through a crisis simulation.

Monitoring and response makes up part of Open Briefing’s ‘tracking triangle’ of GPS trackers, the secure tracking platform and monitoring and response. Please contact us for more information and pricing.
